We all strugglers. My guess is June 24th, check if you get the same answer by calling them......

You are right about the date!!!! They reached June 24th! Here is the sequence:

1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 7, 1... then you insert your application number without the letter at the beginning (XXXXXXX) you press 1 to confirm it... Then year of birth (XXXX) then you press 1 to confirm it.

You have to listen to the operators while you press all the numbers... if you press before they speak you have to wait and repeat again.

Ok so the way I guessed it(well someone in this post mentioned it slightly) is that when you check the processing time for the study permit EXTENSION on the CIC website, it tells you unto what date they have started processing. And I feel happy, just 6 days away from when I submitted my application, so I guess next week they will start processing it, but I hope they give me my decision by 8th August.

Another tip, I just called them to check from my side using my application number.
Use ievaphone or call2friends . com, you can call for free using these, but time limit is 3 minutes a day.

Yeah, and thats what feels a little shady to me, and makes me think this date is only for applicants within Canada.

That's what I feel too. The date is definitely for those who applied online but within Canada. There can't be one processing time for the entire world as every country has a different processing time.
