I applied for study permit along with my spouse, but my spouse (dependent) received passport request before me.
We both received "Correspondence Letter" on 17 July
My spouse received "Passport Request" on 17 July

Can anyone help, should I do something or wait!

They've recieved it, means they got approved based on your application. You'll also recieve PPR that's for sure

Whats your update? Did you get VISA? I know its a very difficult and confusing time ongoing. But your Passport request will come soon. Stay positive.

Have you considered calling them to check in? I would wait another week or two and if nothing still comes up, try giving them a call. Sometimes things slip through the cracks on their end…

I personally haven’t had to reach the IRCC from outside of Canada but found this number and this page with information on how to call them internationally.
