I am waiting for my Work Visa for more than 3 Months

Please, I hope to find anyone who can help me.
I am from Egypt and currently I am studying in USA, I had a postdoc offer in Canada and I have applied to a TRV (Work) in 8-8-2016. I did an online application and my application still under processing until now (about 15 week). I am not a USA citizen and I answered some questions in CIC website and it guided me to the online application.
I am afraid that I will miss the job, and I am thinking to return to Egypt and apply again from there. My friend finish the same visa in less than 6 weeks from Egypt.
Can this causes any problems for me???.

Am in the same situation here too. I applied for my TRC from Canada since September 9 and it's been more than 3months now. Still nothing. Have u received yours now?

I did not receive anything yet more than 4 months now.
