Hello, I'm a little confused as to if I have to provide other information about my family members. I have no kids, but live at home...so I consider my brothers and my mother my family. None of them are interested in moving to Canada though. I don't have to fill out the extra paperwork and have them get medical exams as well, do I? I'm confused. Please help. Thank you.

1. They maybe your family, but they are not your dependents, so they are not included in the application nor do they have medicals.

Thank you.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get the medical Exam done in Los Angeles?

As far as I know you must fill out the ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION IMM5406, and include all family members on your application including siblings and parents.

Apparently it can be regarded as misrepresentation if you do not include all family members on the form, whether they intend to go to Canada or not. They don't nee to have medicals done though.

The only reason I know this is because I filled mine out incorrectly (and only included myself, thinking I had no dependents, and no one else accompanying me). So have to resend an amended form once my application gets assigned to a VO!

Right, I don't plan on misrepresenting them. So I will include them in my application as my brothers and mother and such. Though they don't have to take medical examinations bc they are not accompanying me nor trying to go to Canada. correct?

I had to do the same thing. I thought the form was for the future purpose and did not include my parents and brother then saw posts here that even though I don't have any intention to sponsor them in the future, I should have included them. I asked the VO whether I should redo it and they replied to resubmit the form with their information and I sent it off yesterday.

I did some research and though I have many brothers and sisters and my parents of course. They are not my children and not immigrating with me they don't need them. Though the CIC Immigration forms do request basic info on them ( birthplace and ages, for my parents only), they don't need a medical.

Anyone as a good immigration lawyer someone as a big misrepresentation issue saying is but parents die the same day in is form and did not include is siblings
