Hi all,

I am currently in South America with my spouse and children, I am the last steps to submit my application for sponsorship abroad both of us. I translated must of the documentation and lately they change the Checklist so I went and double checked the info and I found inconsistencies in the address (I guess Spanish speakers would understand) but I wonder if these inconsistencies or discrepancies would be a problem since they ask for those documents just to see the address:

The real Address is:

Calle la Soledad,
Edificio Residencias el Bosque
Apt XX
City, State, Country. zip

Variations are the most common because the ID shows it like that (obmiting the word Residencias - which basically means housing residency):

Calle La Soledad
Edif El bosque
Apt XX
City, State, Country Zip.

Another one

Cll La soledad
Res. El Bosque
Apt XX
City, state, Country zip.

There is another statement even more extreme:

Cll La Soledad
EDF APT XX City, State, Country.

Now my question is - these variation of addresses n the documentation which for the locals is the same, would it be a problem for IRCC????

It should be OK. The examples you gave are all understandable - just like in Canada an address might be given as 25 Edwards Street, Regina, Saskatchewan, or 23 Edwards St., Regina, SK, etc. Both are the same, and would be considered the same by the government. If anything seems like it might confuse someone, you could attach a note; for the English example, saying 'St.' is the abbreviation for 'Street'.

Should be okay as stated above. Just provide a separate sheet of paper to explain the address discrepancies. However, in Schedule A and/or in whichever form they ask for your address, write the most correct, legally recognized address you have. If you have an ID that bears that address, then that's the one you write. Good luck.

Hi all not, thanks for your answers. well it is not the abbreviation that worries me.

It is the word "residencias." that it is on the lease, but it is not on the ID, and some documents:

eg:
Calle la Soledad,
Edificio Residencias el Bosque

And:

Calle La Soledad
Edif El bosque

I think I might be going crazy for the lack of sleep...

It's okay. Be consistent with what you have on your ids. It's the same with the word 'subdivision' or 'village,' sometimes that gets ommitted on the ids, but not on legal documents, or vice versa. Not a big deal. Just provide an explanation with the discrepancies.

Follow one format wherever you are filling/typing in the forms. And then attach a statement/Letter mentioning all the other addresses are one and the same, and it is just different representations.

I think it is OK. 'Residencias' should be clear to anyone working in your visa office, and the fact that it might be omitted shouldn't be surprising. I would just attach a separate sheet explaining about the addresses, and that they are all the same.

It shouldn't be a problem

I guess that's one of the reason why CIC processes the PR in different regions instead of centrally in Canada (so the people who are processing the applications know the regional specificities
