Hello everyone i hope you're having an amazing day ,
i'm Ahmed and i am 21 years old from Yemen and living and Saudia Arabia
the situation in my coutry is absloutely messed up i couldn't go into college and i've been stuck with what to do with my life and i've been thinking about what to do with my life and living in Saudi is becoming harder for Yemenis to work-study so i decided to immigrate to Canada to work and persue my studies and dreams and have a better life there and become a canadian citizen hopefully , so as you would've guessed i am not a professional worker and here comes my question because i don't know what visa i should apply for should i apply as a refugee ? worker? i'm genuinely lost and have no idea what to do , my English is pretty good i have been trained for the IELTS exam and i've been to india as a student for a year but i couldn't afford to persue college so unfortunately i never went to college , can someone please help me ? this can literally change my life.
means a lot , all the love . Ahmed

If you are interested in immigrating to Canada through an economic stream then you will have to spend time researching Canada's immigration programs to determine what it takes to qualify and apply. If you didn't complete college, it will be more difficult for you to qualify. You can find detailed information about Canada's immigration programs here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

Based on the information you have provided, it doesn't sound like you would qualify for refugee status in Canada. However if you want to apply - there are two ways. One way would be to obtain a tourist visa for Canada and claim refugee status once you arrive here. The second way would be to apply from outside of Canada. In order to do this, you would first have to be recognized as a refugee by UNHRC or a similar referral organization.

That's impossible for any of us to say. If you have a strong refugee claim - then you will be accepted. If you don't - then your refugee claim will be refused and you will be forced to leave Canada and return home.

Hi all, I knew it had been a long period of time since this post was post. But I think I have to say some words for this young guy and other people who read this post. If you still young , I mean a round 20years old or younger, you can seize the moment and do your best by studying English hardly and get a high score in IELTS. Besides , search the Canadian labor market to know what kind of college you have to go. of course it is better to have a Master degree with at least one year of work experience in a good company. you can immigrate when your are 30 years old easily. I think It will consume a ten years from you, but It worth it.

I was like you a 20 years ago, I worked very hard and I have an amazing life right now in China. nowadays I am thinking about immigration just to give my kids a bright future. I submitted my profile in EE but because of my age and IELTS result I only have 360 score. I am thinking if I could go back to the past I will spend more time and invest in learning English and finish the Master degree much earlier. crying over spilled milk now does't make any sense.

The only way to go back in time is only advice young people like you to take it seriously and fight for immigration but not as a refuge but as a comparative skilled worker.

Good luck for all of you
