Hello Eveeyone

Hello

I have a query.
Today i and my husband went for medical and in his urine report showed sugar so they took the sample again but did not tell the result to us.

Will it be a prblm for us?

But few 10 days we had pre medical and in that report sugar was nil.

No Problem

Even today he again underwent all blood and urine test...His sugar was nil.
Do not worry. Just wait for the Medical status change on your PR application. It usually changes within 1-2 weeks of AOR.

hey
whats you
r status now. Have you received PR?
Actually i have received an ITA. My son who is 7 years old is diabetic type 1,i.e. insulin dependent. What are my chances of receiving PR.
This may cause problem for PR rejection??I am extremely worried. PLease help.

Hi mine was completed and approved now.

I would say although it is really case-based, but don't worry. As long as the kidney functions well, they don't have any reason to reject. I am type 2 and fortunately there was no problem. I hope you will have the same one.
I know how stressful it is, but you will soon receive the "Completed" message in your online status.

Can you please tell me how much time it takes for PR to be approved after i have applied for it.

My experience:

I am 28 years old and have no medical issues or history. Or at least that's what I thought. When I went for my medical they told me blood sugar in my Urine is very high. Even the doctor and nurse didnt believe it so they immediately took another test and the result was the same. They said it could mean I am diabetic They asked me to consult my primary care physician. When I went there, I was told I am prediabetic. They put me on medication for 3 months.

I got a call from Panel Physician asking for a follow up urine test about 15 days after I visited my primary care physician and was put on medication. This time the blood sugar was back to normal as I had started doing exercise daily and was also taking the meds.

I asked panel physician for my results of the entire thing and they said usually they dont do so but provided me with the entire result. It showed high sugar levels in the first visit but negative in the repeat exam. About 10 days after submitting my express entry profile and getting AOR I got Medical passed in my EE account!!

I have left my sedentary lifestyle behind and am exercising every day to never see such reports again.

Best of luck to you all and stay healthy!

Hi Guys,
This might be a repeat question in the group, but posting again as I couldn't get a proper answer.
We have a 2.6 years child with OBPI birth injury , with no movements at birth in hand, has improved well with good grip, can push and pull, good finger movements, wrist movements, hand to mouth. The child has a few restricted movements like lifting hand above 90 degrees etc.
No surgeries till date and doctor said none required per present condition. He is willing to give us a letter about the same.
We do PT at home twice a day and visit therapist on her progress every 4 months and the specialist every 6 months. She is advised to use a splint in her hand while playing.
No medications required for this condition, its more of home intervention by parents.

Can you guys please give us a fair view point on if we have a chance with medicals or not.
Also , which health grade would we fall under with this condition..

Thanks

I am Diabetic and have a very good knowledge over this subject . I moved couple of years ago. Is there a chance of rejection - yes & No. There are some cases of rejection wich know of a elderly parents who had severe Diabetics and poetential a organ translate coming up . So in short if the Officer feels that you might be a burdern to the the canadian health care system then he/she might ask you to do more test before making a decesion.

If you are teaking just 1 or 2 pill to control your diabetics then I am very sure you are not in the state where you need a organ trasnlate..touch wood hope never . So dont worry about it and yes you should declare that you have diabetics. good luck
Hi, I am a Type1 diabetic with no complications as such, no eye glasses but hba1c jumped from 6.7 to 7.2 during lockdown. Creatinine is 0.7 (slighly on lower side rather than high).. Will such case cause problem in medical test?
