Hi All,

I have a total work ex of 5 years with three employers. I am currently not working.

1. Would it affect my eligibility for Canada PR in any way?
2. Do I need to provide reference letter from previous employers?

Suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, you need to prove at least 3 years of work experience to respective job code to claim maximum points related to work.

You have to provide reference letters for the jobs for which you are claiming points. Being unemployed doesn't affect your application but keep in mind that your skilled work experience must have been within last 10 years. And you need atleast one year of continuous work experience to be eligible.
