you will need to bring telephone card and court will call them (you can use an interpreter if you wish but you need to inform them in advance) They use a telephone with speakerphone.

Maybe you will get ADR

yes, just go buy a calling card and make sure it will give you at least 1 1/2 hours of call time. (I had 3 calling cards with me) Dont get too stressed about it. They were very nice at this Hearing ! Most Appeal cases are approved. Its the waiting that is the hardest part !!!. My case was heard in Toronto. The waiting time is very long

i had a full Hearing. I knew my case was very strong and felt very confident. The judge overtuned the decision and let me know right there. This was followed by a letter 3 weeks later. Dont get too nervous.....they were very fair to us. Yes, the vast majority of Appeals are allowed.

Since you will be heard in Saskatoon, the waiting will not be long for you ! Stay positive and drink Apple Cider Vinegar "mothers" it helps with the stress and depression you are experiencing !

Your lawyer works for you, the appeal board is impartial.

Try Noni juice or lemon in water......stress causes acid in the body which causes disease. You need to alkalize when stressful situations !

The calling cards I bought are named GOOD CALL, $10 each. They were hard to find because most of the calling cards are $2.50 or $5 each. I bought 4 of them. Finally, we used only 3 of them for a period of 4 hours in court.

The judge was very nice to us, but not the Minister's counsel. He asked irrelevant questions, stupid questions, questions with traps, etc. He kept asking questions in a VERY low voice even though the judge asked him a few times to speak louder. His questions were also complex and my husband was confused about what to answer. The judge asked the Ministry's counsel to ask more simple questions with more simple vocabulary. It was hard on my husband as at that time he was suffering from a bronchitis... coughing all the time and exhausted too.

At the end, the Ministry's counsel did not want to overturn the decision. So I got out of court depressed...

yeah, that's what my hubby and I are doing at the moment to collect everything that support our appeal and will mail it off to our lawyer soon once we're done collecting.

he said that our application probably arrive to him around March 1st, 2013..wow so long. I know that Embassy have 120 days to forward the application to the lawyer and Appeal board. he will let me know the time and date of the hearing so I can arrange a flight to Saskatoon to attend the Appeal hearing to prove them that we are purely genuine, period.

I don't remember where my Immigration Consultant found them. I think it is either the gas station Shell or Pharmasave. Not sure... I tried many different places and could not find them. So a few hours before the hearing, my Immigration Consultant finally found them. Be prepared !!!

Like I said in my previous post, the Minister's counsel was hostile to us and at the end he said he would not agree to grant the visa. The judge asked both parties to submit their report. My Immigration Consultant submitted a thorough report and I guess the Ministry's counsel changed his mind after reading it as one month later, he declared that he agreed to overturn the decision of the VO.

good tips.. I will be very prepared and make things in correct order. I'll try to find right calling cards, maybe at Shoppers Drug or Shell Gas station, etc. I hope that Judge and the Minister's counsel is nice to me, not so hostile!

I will give a Thumbs Up to the "Good Call" cards, the ten dollar ones have been awesome when calling my wife in the Philippines, a little hard to find the ten dollar ones, for some reason 2.50 and 5 dollar ones are easy to get, 10 dollar ones you seem to have to ask for, more than not.

Edit - I should add, if you are interested, the best luck finding the ten dollar Good Call cards seems to be for me at Sheffield Tobacconists stores.
