I applied and received study permit and SOWP with my wife in July 2023 . However we could not go to Canada because by that , time the school had deferred our admission for lack seat for my wife . Because they claim the visa came in late . My wife is an American awe and I am from Togo . We re-applied for a new permit in December 2023 and as at today the 1st of May we have not heard anything from IRCC . My question is
- is the delay perhaps because we should not have re-applied in the first place ?
- in the extreme case that we don’t hear from IRCC by September 2024 , can my wife get her study permit with the new LOA we got from school at the boarder ?
- can I still travel on the visa I got from last year?
