Hello All,

Currently, I am Canadian PR and US H1B. Daily commute between Windsor to Detroit. Currently my priority date is March 2015.My question is in order to apply I-485, Do I need to stay in USA only until my advance parole is approved?? Or I can still commute even my I-485 is pending?? Is anyone in same situation??

Asking here wont help since you are supposed and obligated to go with the advice given by your company's immigration lawyer because they are the ones who sponsor your gc hence you dont have other choice.
Getting suggestions here will make it more confusing, worrisome, risky and on top of it you cant anyway take the suggestions given here.

I am not sure why few people asking on gc related filings here since we candidates dont have any say in the company's process and this is not like applying for Canadian PR on our own and finding way to commute.
Just go with what your company says and dont get into immigration issues in final stage of gc since getting priority date itself is one big headache. Messing up with status at the last gc stage will have huge impact when priority date is rarely available.
