Hello everyone! I have been reading constantly in this forum almost everyday this is the 3rd time I posted a question hopefully someone can answer my query accurately and whole heartedly.
Here's my thing, I worked in Canada under the semi skilled category for almost 2 yrs due to untimely manner my contract ended and decided to go back home soon as I've learnt about it so, this just mean I never intended and never cross my mind to lenghten my stay in Canada. When I got back here at my home country, I work for couple of years then, finally settled down and also thought stop working and just be a plain homemaker. Now we are blessed to have our very first baby in which I am now on my 2nd trimester however, a few months ago we received another great news where my husband was being hired by an employer in Alberta under the skilled B category and now he already have his LMO and we are just awaiting for his employment contract soon as he'll have it, we will immediately start applying his Temporary Work Permit (TWP).

Our future baby and I wanted to join him under the application of Spousal Open Work Permit (OWP) and for our baby we will submit a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), my question is, How high do you guys think are our chances to receive a positive approval visa since I have previously experienced working in Canada? Suggestions are acceptable. Please advise us any positive views. Looking forward to hear from someone here to answer me back. Thank you.

thanks @minsky how long do you think the processing this time would take? Have you applied yours? If applicable, Did you apply together with your child(ren)? How was the whole processing, are there any number of pointers you could share? If yes, I will truly appreciate it. :)

My husband is already in canada working for almost 5yrs, last April got his work permit as a skilled worker and applied online for SPousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) and Study Permit for my two kids this June 2013, processing time takes at least 3-6 months, but there is an ongoing strike at Canadian Embassy that means Visa processing will take longer than expected :(

Congrats @minsky at least you guys are now just waiting for the visa result hopefully it will come out soon. I am excited for you! :) by the way, Can I possibly know what are the requirements I needed to comply and which one do you think is advisable applying online or paper application? Hope this is not too much to ask. I am just curious on how all this thing works, so by the moment comes that I'll start processing our application, I already have everything all set and ready. And, for sure you guys are already reunited with your husband in Canada by then. :) Your feedback would serve as my guideline.
