Humber college deferral request

I filled a contact form requesting for deferral because I study visa has not yet been approved so the college responded to me that they can not process my request because they only transfer fee upto two semesters and now I must refund my money and then reapply. While I am requesting for deferral for second time and not third time, my study permit application is also in process and I have proved them that I paid this amount to college I can not refund my money. Can anyone please guide me what should I do. This is really distressing and problematic for me.

Hi I am in the same situation now. I'm doing a judicial review for my application and they won't defer becasue I had to defer due to the athestation required the goverment implemented early 2024. What did you do to resolve your situation.

OP hasn’t been on forum in 2 years. Why do JR if you cannot defer? If you “win” then goes back to officer for review and it will be refused because PAL has most likely expired and school didn’t allow you to defer.

Two things
1. Didn't think deferring will be an issue - I have already deferred once because when it can time to submit my initial application the government changed the rules and I had to wait for an attestation letter.
2. I though I had enough time to get it done. (with Boarderpass) - I am using BoarderPass for the JR. I was under the impression that JR will be a short process and didn't even think I would need to defer.

No - this is my first time.

Can you please explain the process to me. What will be the impact based on my current situation ?
