Humanitarian and compassionate considerations for parent

Hi, please anyone advise which are the chances to apply for humanitarian and compassionate considerations for parent? My father died several years ago and my mother live alone in my home country, now she visited us for a year. My, my 2 sisters' families are here (we all immigrated with families as permanent residents), and I have not any brother or sister in my home country. May I apply for humanitarian and compassionate considerations and after how long stay, may I apply after 2-3 months?
How easy to extend her stay as visitor? She has super visa and was granted only 1 year at port. If there are other ideas, I'll research them too.

You could sponsor your mother for permanent residency through the parents sponsorship program. It is a long process, but so is a H&C one, and I believe the chances of approval are very low for H&C cases.

It is in my plans to, but I may starting from 2019 (for having 3 years tax returns), and it is not guaranteed, otherwise it is the most acceptable method for me. Why do you assume that chances are low? My mother has 3 children and all live in Canada as permanent residents and she lives alone in my home country. I heard that these cases have high chances. Do you know anyone rejected with similar case?

I don't know much about H&C cases, other than they are long, have high rejection rates, and the person needs to be in Canada to apply for it. Perhaps a more experienced member can jump in and tell if your case in particular has a good chance to get approved under H&C, since I wouldn't know that.
