Hi,
I was previously at 400 points with a 4-year Bachelor's degree ECA. Last night I updated it to include my new Master's degree ECA and today the score jumped to 439!
Is this normal? I had expected it to go up by 14 points according to this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp
Thanks
EDIT:
I'm starting to understand what happened. Adding the Master's degree boosted my My "CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education" by 14 points and my "CRS - Skill Transferability - Education" by 12 points.
That leaves 13 "extra" points. I'm going to investigate a bit further...
EDIT 2:
Ah! My "CRS - Skill Transferability - Education" was actually boosted by 25 points. It's only boosted by 12 points if the language tests are below CLB 9.
Now I just need to scrape some points elsewhere... I'm gonna tell my wife that if I were single I would've already gotten an ITA
