Hi Friends,

I thought of getting the service letter done before applying for CIC and list the duties as per the Service Letter (I am under 0213). CIC wants the letter to be in such a format where the designations are mentioned with exact period and duties listed under them. My boss is OK with that but the HR Manager is not willing to do that. What he says is that they issue letters only as a paregraph and there would not be specific periods mentiond for resignations, rather it would only say that I have held these designations in the company and performed such an such duties. I tried my best to convince the HRM. But he does not listen. I thought of taking the Document on the CIC web site which is asking for that format. But unfortunately, the HRM is busy and he said he can talk to me only in three weeks time. This has already been about three weeks now.

So friends, What Shall I do. I have done my IELTS last December and I need things processed before it gets expired. And also I fear that NOC 0213 might get removed from the list, if I get late.

I am now thinking of applying to CIC before getting the Service letter and then try to get the service letter later. ( The service letter is not required in this stage but I just tried to get it done before hand to avoid any surprises in the future).

Please advice on what I can do.

Send your file to Sydney and wait for approval. Mean while prepare documentation as well. Do not wait
 
If your immediate manager is ready to provide such a letter it should be fine. This will act as a reference letter.
But don't submit your final application without a detail letter of your job responsibilities and timelines. we submitted standard HR experience letter and got rejected :-(

You mean that I shoud not submit, the application for local CHC without a proper service letter. Am I correct. But I can go ahead and submit the initial application to CIO sydney.

was it to the local CHC that you sumbitted the standard service letter and got rejected. What was your format of that letter which made your app. being rejcted.
