HR jobs in Canada?

i have 14 years of experience in various functions within HR and have a US degree- how difficult will it be for me to get a suitable job in Canada? i've been reading stories of migrants of initial struggle and doing petty jobs before landing a job in the respective skill/qualification which also may take time thus wondering if immigrating to Canada is the right thing for me. I have lucrative job here in India with a IT MNC.
