I've worked as a call centre agent before and I know how it feels. I wouldn't mind doing it for survival.I know someone who is an IT professional with extensive years of work and significant experience in the IT field, yet Canadian employers would not hire him as such. Now he's going back to school to learn IT -- the Canadian way. To survive, he's working as a Call Center Agent. Frustrating, ain't it? He landed a few years back and did employment workshops and everything, yet he isn't still Canadian-market ready without the diploma.
Education is part of my plan, maybe masters, or even a degree in something else.
