hello everyone,

I going to do my landing next month, however will return with my spouse to my country for another three - 6 months. My plan is to have the card mailed to her parents home in Vancouver- but a valid question came up and that was if it is mailed via registered mail to me or if it just comes regular mail.

I'm just concerned because she is suppose to FEDEX it to me- however if it requires me to sign for the package then we might be in trouble..anyone able to help.

Thank you

hi i got my card via regular mail. but i don't think fedex can send it to u. why not u say some one who is coming to the place where u r going to give u by hand that will be safer i guess. but don't worry it's on regular mail

why would fedex not deliver it.....my mother in law just puts it in a book and thats that...i don't think thats illegal....

well if that's the case then ya it's possible but if u tell fedex that it's pr then i don't think so plus bro. why are u taking risk just tell someone to hand over to u are just wait for 4 weeks u will get it via mail and then u can go tension free anyways choice is urs best of luck

robertbola, it's fine. People do this all the time, no worries.

And btw, I'm just outside of Vancouver and it's been almost 6 weeks since I landed, no PR card yet.
