Well Buffalo has been closed for a while now ( over a year I would say) so not sure it changes anything.
Plus - with CIC, it's unpredictable, noone knows how it will affect. CIC is closing Detroit and Seattle ( I think), and saying it won't affect anything, but of course - you'll only know after.
So - just file when you're ready, and hope for the best!

Just changes visa office for processing. You now choose CPC-Ottawa.

I am not only sorry for those that these closures affect by delaying decision but those officers reading them. This is just making things worse. This puts undue pressure on the system. Their mission by their own admission is reuniting families and that is their goal but I don't see how this helps.

It looks like Ottawa is doing it much faster than Buffalo did. I got my PPR at the point in time where I would have been expecting Stage 2 AOR on Buffalo's schedule. So it does seem to be helping
