How will the Buffalo office closure effect my wifes application?

I am Canadian citizen, and I am going to sponsor my wife. In a week or 2 we are going to submit our outland sponsorship application. According to my lawyer, although it is a outland, its gets submitted in Canada and goes to Ottawa.

The current closure of the buffalo office and all the PR apps sent from there to Canada: How will this effect people like me who will have an application submitted in a few weeks?

It's all been sorted out ages ago. It'll either to to Ottawa or to a VO in the US.
