How will my PGWP got affected on Skipping my Summer Term and taking internship

So currently I have the choice to skip my summer term that spans for 2 months, its actually my last term if I'm not going to get a diploma and only a certificate. My problem is that to apply for CEC I need at least a year of work experience. So I want to increase my PGWP by taking an intership that can be max out to 6 months.

My question is that, if I started my internship on summer term. Will that affect my overall PGWP or is it better to still skip summer term and just get internship after that so no complication

No I don't think so, I am assuming its optional for the 4 months or 8 months. My study permit is actually for the 2-year course and not just 1, and in that 2-year course I got approved for the coop work permit (its also optional). I also attended a seminar that told us internship is possible to increase the PGWP as long as it is on the course list.
