Hi, I am inside Canada on Visit Visa. Remaining period of my Visit visa is 2 yrs nine months. I have got admission in Saskatwoon SK in PGWP approved college for Sep-23 intake. Please guide, Can I get Study permit at Border? How should I apply? What will be time required. Thx

Where are you from? Do you have a spouse in Canada on study or work permit. IF not, you apply online & it is processed from your home country. You cannot flagpole. You show ties to home country (job opportunities, spouse/children, properties), funds to justify costs and show career and education advancement.

You cannot apply for a study permit at the border. You have to submit the application online. It will be processed through the visa office in your home country and not in Canada.

Note that the 2 years and 9 months is just the validity of your TRV and not how long you are allowed to stay in Canada. Most likely you were allowed in for six months. Make sure you do not overstay your visit while waiting for the study permit to be processed. You may have to submit a second application to extend your status in Canada as a visitor.
