hi all


i would like to ask what is the proper way to send an email to my member of parliament requesting help or assistance regarding my sponsorship application coz every time i call my visa office they never answer or pick up. Anyways i would really appreciate it if you guys here could help me in this issue

hi,
Through your Area's MP's website u can find email address as well as contact no.
They would assist with your immigration matters, please visit MP's office or email . n they need your case related details like name , b'day, address , file no. etc. n sometime asking signed consent form. within two week they will get back u .

write about when u filed , for whom(means husband or wife ) n explain your situation. definitely they will help u.

now you don't write a letter but call ur MP office in which case they will transfer you to a representative that takes care of immigration cases. he/she will ask you few questions such as date you submitted ur app/date of approval and then will probably ask for ur email address to email you a form which your spouse have to sign and email it back to MP. afterwards, he/she will email the embassy office about status of ur application and let you know about the response.
sometimes they refuse to do this and ask you to wait....

Thanks a lot for replying i actually know the my MP email address but my question is the proper way of writing the letter i mean the format and how should i start it

sometimes they refuse to do this and ask you to wait....
may i ask why would they refuse to help me i don't really understand that.

The CIC website says they will not answer any inquires about the status of your application until it is past the normal processing time for that region. If they set up this rule, I doubt your MP will try to break that rule for you.
