How to verify visa stamp.Genuine or fake?

- contacting the ND VO and verify the visa
- checking ecas
- or your friend could try using the visa by travelling to Canada.

However, I would not recommend the latter.

Call embassy and ask themif that visa is genuene , if they say is not then report police and media about that fraud agent

OMG, you go the best suggestion, contact NDVO for verification. Cos they only can tell you it is fake or not. Consultants will go any length to extort money from applicants and applicants will sometimes throw caution to the wind and follow such consultants. I wouldnt pay any money to this consultant if I dont get confirmation from CIC that the visa is genuine.Or you are worried they might think you are a party to a scam?

He might not even have the info to go check ecad himself. If he did, I am sure be would know the answer himself. From his post, he appeared to have given the consult his documents and had nothing whatsoever to do with the application subsequently. He was sent a scanned copy of visa and consultan asked to pay a hefty sum of money before his passport would be released.
File number could have helped to put all doubt to rest.

No medical visa issued impossible....100% fake....Call NDVO .....
Dont let the agent run cause not only money he has wasted 9 months of your friend life and also his passport ....

Crooked agents are a problem everywhere and not just India, as someone above suggested. It's global.
Anyways call visa office... No one can confirm for sure other than VO.
If it is work visa then what company or organization is hiring him? This can give some clues as well (taking to the people hiring) but that can be faked as well.

I will go with calling VO.

HELLO EVERY BODY,
my friend got visa though an agent.it took 9 months for processing time.he hasn't gone through medical or interview.Agent just sent him email a scan of visa
asking for money upfront.Now we r not sure visa is genuine or fake.His VO is New Delhi.on visa lable visa sub class is written "working" instead of "worker" which makes us very suspicious. so pls come up with ur suggestion. pls seniors help me.

do not go blindly
one of my friend same got the UK visa , and agent asking for money ,he Deposited some money in his account and he went to collect the visa but noting is there no one pick up all call , he reported the police also , but no luck

Be careful , world is full of cheaters. do not believe any one unless u will get visa from Embassy on the given address
