How to Use ECAS?

Hello,

I got my application number and UCI off my rep and tried logging in but it didn't work. I'm sure I'm making a silly mistake somewhere but thought I'd ask here before trying again (says I've used too many log in attempts for now).

I am the one being sponsored. Is it me or my wife's surname and DOB that is required? Also, should I be using the application number or UCI when logging in?

Communicating with IRCC
There are several ways we may communicate with you:

Important: Do not attempt to link your application to your personal online account if you have appointed a representative. If you have appointed a representative and attempt to link your application to your own online account, you will have to cancel your representative before you can link.

If you have an authorized paid representative, they can link your application to their own online account instead.

Unpaid representatives cannot use online accounts. If you have an unpaid representative, you should remind them to regularly monitor their e-mail and mail to ensure correspondence is received.

Go to Ecas login page

Identification Type: select the option application number/Case number

in Identification Number: type in your Application no.


Surname/Family Name: here write your type in your last name

Date of Birth: put in your dob

Place of Birth: Type in the country you're born in

I can not log into ecas. Keeps saying cannot find my account with the information I entered. I tried uci and app number. I'm using the PA info. Am I doing something wrong?
