how to upload a picture in the body of a topic???

Hi all,

how do i upload a picture from my desktop to a topic ???


Can't figure it out!

Go to tinypic.com

Follow the directions (choose file from your desktop, upload file)

You will get three options to share your image. Choose the IMG code option, which looks like this:

[IMG]http://i50.tinypic.com/24ngny9.png[/IMG]

Copy and paste it into your post/reply, and it will look like this:

that image I used is from here, by the way: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.ca/2010/06/this-is-why-ill-never-be-adult.html

There are other sites like tinypic on the Internet where you can upload your images.

when you are posting a reply there is an option to insert an image under the italicized button
once pushed it shows this(but I put spaces after the g so it would show)
[img ] [/img ]

upload your desired picture to any website facebook ect..
right click on the picture after it is uploaded, then select copy image location
then paste the link between the [img ] [/img ] but without the spaces

Whenever I try the method using TinyPic, I get a message saying "Sorry, you are not allowed to post links." Is this a recent change to the forum rules and is there a way around this?

I just read on another thread that I need 10 posts to be allowed to post links. This is my 7th so I'm just going to be a real dick and post 3 more. Sorry!
