How to Update spouse name in study permit

Hello all..

I got my visa for fall'15. After that I got married..Kindly let me know how should I update this information with CIC?? Do I need to update this before I leave India or after reached Canada I can update??

In that forum..no1 is able to tell me properly..So I have posted here..I am not asking for student visa..Just I am asking how to update my new status to CIC..For that I guess all forum will be relevant

If you check the International Students section of the forum - you'll find your question has in fact been answered. It is unrealistic to expect an answer in just a few minutes - sometimes you have to wait a few hours.

This section of the forum is for questions about the permanent residency obligation and is therefore not the right place to be posting your question.

did you sent email to cic and provided the update or a mail to cic with info and letter regarding the status update?
search for status update forms on cic website or search in this forum and type " status change or update" and you can then scan through results....

and btw you dont have to update anything in study permit.
if you are in canada call service canada and inform them...you can inform immigration when you are entering canada
i did same and was able to get updated my status last year.
