how to update new born baby information

I'm apply CEC, my wife is a landed PR. We just have a baby born inside Canada. After birth, the baby got health care number and will get a social insurance number as well.

in this case, do i have to put the bay as one of the PR applicants? the baby should be a canadian citizen, isn't he?
So, what kind of information should I give to the CIC? Thanks

You have to send Birth certificate to CIC. Yes kid is citizen unless you are foreign diplomat person

Your child is a Canadian citizen by birth. You should not add him as your dependents in the application, but add him to the background declaration form.
