Monthly TTC Student Pass or Metropass will cost you 102.75 CAD while the Presto Card for the Go Train/Bus, you can top up/load anytime. You can visit Gotransit.com for fare matrix, schedules, etc. :)
wow, it's cheaper than I thought. Is this 1 round trip per day and 5 days in a week?

Taking the GO Train from Lisgar to Scarborough will probably be the fastest - but it will most likely also be the most expensive option.

A single (one way) ticket from Lisgar to Scarborough will cost you $11. You can reduce the costs of this trip by buying multi-trip passes. But even then, you're probably still looking at around $8 one way. You'll need to pay for the TTC separately.
Train from Lisgar to Scarborough (2-way) is $16 x 4 days x 4 weeks = $256, so this is for the train only? TTC means for the bus, right? By the way, how long is the travelling time for Train from Lisgar to Scarborough?

I am checking this route: (Mississauga) Derry Rd - > York Univ ->Centennial => 2 buses with walk...around $15 one-way maybe will be cheaper with Presto. But travelling time will be more than 2hrs.

How long is the train from Lisgar to Scarborough? And the bus from Scarborough to Centennial? I saw one google suggested...Take bus to York Univ around 1.10-1.20hrs travel then York Univ to Centennial around 45-55mins. So total of 2hrs++. With $15 one-way.

You don't need to take a bus to York Univ. If you will be coming from Scarborough Go Train Station, I think there's bus 102A Markham Road toward Progress/Centennial College. It will take 20-30 mins to reach Centennial. If coming from Scarborough Town Centre, take bus 134. Those buses are TTC buses, you have pay separately.
Hi. What I meant is...Instead of taking train in Lisgar Go. What if I am coming from Derry Rd nearest to my house. I will take bus #48 to York Univ then from there take bus #51 to Centennial which is actually 2 buses only and $15 one-way with 2hrs++ trip as well.

Any comment if this is the best way to Centennial?

I really don't know which is the best way to centennial coming from your place. But, if you still have enough time before the September intake, you can try all the suggested route and decide for yourself which is the best.

I think you should go like Scylla suggest, as that’s the fastest and probably the best way plus it’s definitely cheap as well. I have not too spent too much time there, so I can’t tell you exactly, but whatever Scylla suggested looks pretty spot on.
