the filing reciept has a tracking number.
with that tracking number and your date of birth track it on Vfsglobal.ca

ask your consultant for the tracking number on reciept.

No, Tracking number starts with Date in format yyyy/mm/dd
example: 201607xxxxxxxxxxxx

Bro with application no. You can link your paper based application to online account.

You can not track online application if you applied through consultant. Your consultant have your user id and password. he only can track online application

Why bother using consultant. They can't guarantee an approval. Also, you are entitled to be able to track your application. If your consultant doesnt give you the login details, YOUR login details, fire his ass but don't forget to tell cic that.
