How to submit passport of my son who is not in the USA ?

I have one question . I have been requested to send our passports from Buffalo VO.
But the problem is that my son is not in USA ? what should I do ?
Those who have experienced similar situations please do guide me

Have him forward the passport to you via FedEx and then you mail it to the VO.

Thank you for the prompt response but they say it is not legal to send passport by courier . will Buffalo VO not say anything about my son's passport ?

If it is illegal to courier your son's passport, then either he needs to travel to the USA with his passport so that it can be submitted to the VO for visa stamping or someone will have to transport it (carry it) from the country your sons is in to the USA so that the passport can be submitted to the VO.

So how do you send it to the VO? Don't forget some VO's support more than one country and passports have to be couriered to the VO for the Visa. I believe your sons passport can be couriered without any issues.
