Chances of success with the visitor's visa are low as well unless she can prove significant ties to her country that will make the visa officer believe she will return to Pakistan after her visit is over. If you intention is to get her here and keep her here until the sponsorship is finished, chances of your success are very slim.

You can't lie to immigration. She has to identify all of her family members so the visa office will know she has a daughter in Canada even if the letter of invitation comes from someone else. She will also be asked questions during the interview for the visa and if she lies, that's misrepresentation on her part which will automatically prohibit her from entering Canada for 2 years. You don't want that on her file if you are applying to sponsor her.

thank you all for your replies,

actually my mother is alone and i want that she could has easy access to Canada to meet us whenever she wants but the chances of getting her visit visa is very low thats why i was thinking about other alternatives.sponsoring her would also take years.any ways i will apply both for her .God is great and will definetly help us.

my mother is doing a job here in Pakistan for years and now there are around five years left for her retirement .can we expain this to the visa officer that she is not going to leave the job and to stay in Canada for good as there are only 5 years left in her retirement to get benefits etc.

basically what i want is that she could come to canada frequently in her vacations while her application (sponsorship application)would be in process.so that she could remain in touch with me and doesn't feel lonely or otherwise i will feel guilty of leaving her.

plz do tell me if someone has any suggestions in this regard.

hello
in connection to my above post can any one tell me:(especially Leon and rjessome )

what factors/or arguments are valid and usually accepted by an immigration officer as a prove of showing strong ties of some one to his/her homeland (as in case of my mother) so that a visit visa could be issued.

@Leon
can i call my mother to canada as a live-in caregiver for my family ?

waiting for valueable suggestions.

Strong ties could include job, real estate, family ties etc. Your idea of showing a job with 5 years to retirement and benefits could be a strong one.

If you want to sponsor your mother, it's a good idea to start sponsorship of her soon because then it should be done in 5 years when she is ready to move.

Hiring your mother as a live-in caregiver.. I don't think I have ever heard of a case like that. I have heard of people hiring other relatives like a niece or a sister. To issue a live-in caregiver visa, your mother would have to have experience as a live-in caregiver or have taken a 6 month course on it and they would have to believe she would return home at the end of 2 years. If you can not show that she has a job anymore to go back to, this is your mother and she is getting older, they may not believe she will return home and may not issue the visa based on that.

I think you should try to apply for a multiple entry visa for her based on that she has a secure job at home and 5 years to retirement. If you get a 3 year visa, that should be enough for her to come visit you when she wants to while you apply to sponsor her. Once the sponsorship is complete, she gets PR and can come visit you any time until she moves.
