Hi guys,

I sent in my in-land application on April 6th, 2016. I did not submit my police certificates at the time as they were still in process. I have now received them. So my questions are:

1. Should I send them in right away? or wait for them to ask me to send it?
2. If I send them in right away, what is the best possible way to do it? via mail? or using the online submission?

Since my application, I have gotten my AOR1 and AOR2 as well as my OWP.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I was told by CIC's call centre to use Case Specific Enquiry, and include a note why it wasn't included, and attach to the enquiry. You could try to send it in, but without a letter requesting it, I would be worried it might get lost. You can always call the CIC to ask: 1-888-242-2100.

They usually want the original police certificate. I suggest you wait until they ask for it and provide a postal address for you to send it to.

The request I got for PCC from CPC-Ottawa asks for scanned police certificate. They also have a "Please note" section at the bottom which specifies that originals not be sent unless specifically asked for.
