How to send PCC (USA) after submitting PR application (US resident)

Hi Seniors,
I have this question about FBI pcc. Since the pcc didn't arrive until after my PR application filing deadline, I submitted my application without the FBI pcc.
I read in the forums that one should send the pcc by CSE as attachment and that is what i did.
However I just stumbled upon this cic page which says original pcc needs to be mailed to:

Does this mean that CSE will not work for sending pcc to CIC?
Also is it OK to let go of the original pcc?
I am currently in USA.

Don't send any hard copies or original documents. CSE is enough. CIC may even contact you to upload it through your online account.
Were you granted any extension to submit PCC after application submission?

Thanks for your reply. No I sent the CSE with PCC 4 days after submitting my PR application. My profile just says The additional docs are being reviewed. Medical and Background checks hasn't progresses yet. Maybe since my application hasn't reached the background check stage, I havent been asked about the missing PCC yet.
