how to send passport through courier outside India ?

Hi

I am looking forward for a call for my passport for PR VISA. I have applied from Sydney Australia and returned home. Now that I am in the final stage of my application. Could anyone let me know how to send passport outside India through international courier ? Is this a legal way of sending passport ? If not which would be the alternate means of sending passport from India to Australia ?

Courier people dont accept the passport.

It is not allowed to send passport outside country. You will have to appear to present your passport. One of my friends faced the same and finally he went for the said purpose.

You don't have to do it personally. You can send a friend, relative, etc.

Write a letter explaining that they are carrying your passport and give the reason. Have the letter notarized and give it to the person carrying your passport so they can show it to CIC.
