I've just done this. DHL did not know what I was talking about when I asked about this service, but we figured it out.
1. email the vienna office to confirm their courier pickup times. make sure the subject line of your email includes you case nubmer etc (best to reply directly to the email they sent to you letting you know the documents were ready). If you email without this subject line, they will take forever to reply. in the email instructions, it said to have the courier contact them and arrange pickup times, but DHL would not do this, and i figured it was better to just confirm it myself. at the time i contacted them, the pick up times were mon-fri 10am-1 or 2 pm.
2. when you know the pick up times/days, arrange it through DHL on the austrian website. use DHL express. when you get to payment, it will force you to use an austrian billing address. unless you live in austria, you probably don't have one. i was stuck on this for a long time but finally called DHL and they told me to put my own address (whatever matches your credit card) and then only the field that the system won't allow you to change (i believe it was country and postal code) you leave as is. i thought this wouldn't work and the payment would decline since the billing address is inaccurate but it worked. i paid through paypal, not sure if it would have been different with credit card.
3. DHL will update you once it's picked up and in transit, etc. we opted for next day delivery. it was expensive $100 EUR to deliver a piece of paper. but we didn't want to risk local post office services.
Good luck everyone!
