How to read dates on Canadian Immigration Visa? Day-Month-Year or Month-Day-Year.

I live in Dubai but my visa was issued from London. So that could be another complication pertaining to dates.

I want to clear this up... why don't they just use letters for months - so people aren't jittery :(

based on some "informal looking paper" I received and a few sites I think it's Day-Month-Year.

(1) Can anyone confirm date sequence? And
(2) show me a proper "reference/link" for this.

Hi,

I have received the instruction letter along with my COPR, I am sure you must have received similar letter along with your COPR. My letter clearly stated that dates are in dd/mm/yy format.
