Apply immediately for your GCMS notes. There are lots of threads on forum with instructions and your wife can order them on your behalf as she is in Canada. Cost $5.00. You have to give her signed permission but these documents are all provided in the instructions.
The GCMS notes will give you a better idea of the problems you have to overcome. It takes about a month to get them so don't delay. You have to find reasons that would compel the VO to believe you would not overstay in Canada. Family, property, previous good employment, history of travel out of the country and back again. I am wondering what your wife used to prove her ties when she applied? Good luck.
Thanks Pippin. My wife had applied to the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi while we were working there. She never showed any property, but was given the WP without any hassles.
She now has already applied for my CAIPS notes, and it takes a month to obtain it. My employer wants me to re-apply immediately, and has even written a letter to the VO guaranteeing that I'll leave Canada by the end of my contract and stating that my experience is a perfect match for their needs, and they need me to start work asap.
I have documents from the municipality here proving my family ties here (grandmother, mother, brother and sister-in-law) and also proof of all properties (land and houses) owned by my family and my bank statement. I guess this addresses the two factors considered for the refusal of my first application - family ties and financial situation. However, please advise me how I can address the third factor which is - limited job prospects in my home country. I am currently employed in my brother's leadership institute as admin officer.
Many thanks for your guidance.
