How to re-apply after being being refused visa

My application for temporary work permit was refused by the Canadian High Commission/Consulate to Delhi/Chandigarh Centre, India, stating "You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the period authorized for your stay." Three factors considered in reaching this decision were - 1) Limited job prospects in my country (Nepal), 2) Family ties in Canada and my home country, and 3) Proof of funds and assets.

I am thinking of re-applying before my LMO for the position of hotel Front Desk Agent expires on June 30, 2013. Please advise if I should re-apply again to the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi, or is it better to apply online this time, as there is an option to apply online too. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

I have experience of 11 years working in similar positions in different 5 star hotels in my country and in the Middle-East too.

My wife has already been working in Alberta, Canada for over a year. She is also working as a Front Desk Agent in another hotel, and cannot invite me as a dependent/spouse as she is not in a managerial position.

It doesn't matter how you reapply.

However if you want to have any chance of being approved, you'll need to provide evidence that addresses the concerns that were listed in your refusal. Specifically - it sounds like you need to show stronger / additional proof of assets and stronger ties to your home country.

Thank you Scylla. Do you know where the online applications are processed? I guess I might have better chances applying online if it is processed elsewhere, than re-sending my application to the same center which denied me visa in the first place.

Does anyone know where online applications are processed?

Thanks.

It doesn't matter where the new application is processed. They will have access to the notes made by your first officer and the reasons for refusal.

You're focusing your efforts in the wrong place. Rather than worrying who is going to process your second application, you should be focusing on providing evidence that will address the reasons why your first application was refused.

Apply immediately for your GCMS notes. There are lots of threads on forum with instructions and your wife can order them on your behalf as she is in Canada. Cost $5.00. You have to give her signed permission but these documents are all provided in the instructions.
The GCMS notes will give you a better idea of the problems you have to overcome. It takes about a month to get them so don't delay. You have to find reasons that would compel the VO to believe you would not overstay in Canada. Family, property, previous good employment, history of travel out of the country and back again. I am wondering what your wife used to prove her ties when she applied? Good luck.

Hey, this is a slightly different topic because i applied for the live in caregiver program, but i just fot back from the Embassy and they refused my application stating that they're not satisfied with my experience in the field of work I intend to do in Canada. However, I worked as a full time nanny in the US for 6 months in 2009-2010, and then i worked for over a year as an English teacher with kids between 6 and 12 years old. My current job is also as a full time nanny since october last year, but i only sent a letter from my English teacher job. I want to reapply as soon as possible but now sending letters from my present employer and from the one in the US. Do you think this is enough proof of my experience as a live in caregiver? Should i also send a cover letter explaining what did i do in each job so they see I have more than enough experience with kids?

Thank you for your help.

Yes, I have read a thread here, she is applying for LCP in Canadian Consulate in Middle East, her application was first denied, since her work permit in Middle east was about to end, she went home to Philippines and reapply again. After 4 months, she got her TRV approved. Hope this helps for you.
I pray that you will get your visa

Four months processing under the live in caregiver from the Philippines? That is a record breaker. Please post the thread. thanks.

But it is possible to have a positive result if when you re-submit application one has addressed the refusal points.
