How to prove startup and freelance work experience to justify gap when applying under SDS?

Hey, I completed my B.E, Software Eng. in 2019 Dec and have a study gap of around 2.5 years. During the gap, have founded a tech startup (healthcare app, registered and still running to date) + working on a freelance basis remotely for a company abroad. So what supporting documents would you advise me to prove this experience when applying under SDS?

1. Please don't call it a gap. I don't know why everyone is referring to that as a gap. It is considered a gap, if you sat at home twiddling your thumbs doing nothing, lol. You didn't do that. You worked. :).

2. I was working as a freelancer for about a year when I applied to a program in Canada. I showed client testimonials, with their contact details mentioned in the documents. If you have clients who are happy with your freelance work and are willing to write a letter, with their details mentioned that helps.

3. As for the healthcare app you created and launched, if you have any proof of it, that helps. Anything to do with registration? Legal documents? Attach that as proof.

Thanks for the reassurance haha, as they make gap seem so bad.

I got company registration documents, and I guess I can get client to write the testimonial but what to include? Any sample, or if possible, can you please share yours? Would mean a lot.

Thanks :)

Income tax returns, bank statements, invoices, screenshots of the apps, testimonials from clients, copy of key emails to/from clients, incorporation documents assuming your startup was incorporated, copies of bills for services you used in your freelancing biz (the billing statement from your domain registrar, as an example).
