Hi, everyone:

I just submitted my application for post graduate work permit, and by law I am eligible to work in Canada when the work permit is being processed.

However, I am wondering how to prove that? How to show it to my employer that my application is being processed?

As far as I know, CIC doesn't issue any letter to applicants that could be used as evidence.

Could anyone help me with it?

Thanks!

Did you submit online or paper ?
If online, then you have got the submission letter .You can show that to your employer.

I submitted online, and yes I did receive a submission letter, but it doesn't show the type of application is PGWP.

In fact, that letter is pretty simple with very limited info.

The letter W in front of application stands for Work permit . I think it will be enough to show .
