Hello all,

As I know, each day you were physically present in Canada as an authorized temporary resident or protected person before you became a permanent resident counts as half a day (up to a maximum of 365 days).

Can you please advise how can I prove that I was physically present in Canada to take the up to 365 days? I took 1.5 years program of MBA and worked 1.5 years in Canada before I became a permanent resident.

Thanks,

You do not need to prove ur presence unless IRCC asks you to during processing of ur app
Thanks Zmaqsood for your quick advice, so how can IRCC know that I was physically present in Canada more than 2 years before I became PR? or Did they have my record on their system?

IRCC have, given your approval, access to the records of entry held by CBSA. That will confirm your entry dates in Canada.
If they get really concerned about your credibility, they can issue a variety of levels of residency questionnaires that you would need to complete with supporting documents. Just hope that you don't have to go down this route...
