How to prove I stayed for less than 6 months?

Hi friends,

I studied from Sep 2019 to Aug 2020 in Hong Kong and have been required to get a police certificate, but my actual physical stay in HK was from Sep 2019 to Jan 18th, 2020 due to the COVID and I stayed in my hometown taking online courses.

Now I have got my exit and entry records from the National Immigration Administration which shows I don't have any travel record after Jan 18th, and a certifying letter from my university to confirm the online teaching arrangement.

Do you think this is enough to prove that my stay was less than six months? Many thanks!

How about entry and exit stamps on your passport? You can submit those as well, as evidence.
Thank you for your reply. Forgot to say, I'm from Mainland China so we don't use a passport to travel to HK, instead we use an exit-entry permit, which is also shown on the travel records issued by the National Immigration Administration. Perhaps I should also apply for a travel record from Hong Kong's immigration authority? I am just considering whether this is necessary.
