Hi All,
I did my Bachelors in Civil Engineering and Masters in Environmental Engineering. So far so good as the generic NOC code for Civil Engineers: 2131 takes care of both,as that NOC not only includes Environmental Engineering but also the whole host of allied engineering streams such as irrigation, geotechinical engineering and so on

While the initial years of my work experience was in line with this code ie., 2131, the latter years saw a shift in my career preferences and i performed duties which is in line with NOC 4161 which is for Natural and applied sciences researchers, consultants and program officers.

In the EE application, how should i mention the NOC code against my work experience? My work experience post 2009 is in alignment with NOC 4161 while my experience prior to 2009 was in NOC 2131.

Thanks in advance for replying and any reference from the official website for the same

Regards

Don't need to bother with your job prior to 2009. If you are applying under Express Entry, only work experience within past ten years contributes to your CRS. Just use 4161 for what you do post 2009
