Hey Everyone , I am living in Dubai for last 5 years and have a Bachelor degree in Accounting. I got accepted to study a diploma in Accounting in Seneca College in Toronto. But , Today my visa got rejected for below reasons.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on :
1- your immigration status.

( I don't understand what does the officer mean by immigration status ? and how can I reply on that? )
2- your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence
( I have temporary residence in Dubai and have my cousin living in Canada which isn't a strong family ties. so how can I reply on that point)
3- The purpose of your visit.
( In my SOP, It was clear that I am planning to study in Canada and go back to Egypt. I attached to them my saving accounts in Egypt and my bank account in Dubai . isn't that enough ? what do I need to show them more ?)
4-your current employment situation.
(all of my experience letters with over 9 years including employment letter from my current employer that I am currently working with them was attached in my application. so I really don't understand what's wrong with my current employment situation.)

please help me.

It makes absolutely no sense for you to be taking a diploma after a bachelor degree. The diploma is a much lower level of study. This is why you were given the purpose of visit refusal reason.

The immigration status refusal reason means you are living in a country where you only have temporary status (you aren't a citizen there) so it is more difficult to show ties and prove you plan to leave Canada after your studies. You likely received the current employment situation refusal reason for the same reason. Your job is temporary only - you don't have permanent status in that country.

Thank you for your reply. you opened my eyes to good points. The diploma program in accounting is a CPA Ontario accredited and its a prerequisite course to start studying CPA in Canada.
Do you think a good lawyer can help me?
