Hi guys,

I need some clarification on how I should organize my package for sponsoring my wife :)

There's 2 check lists and we must send both check lists. Usually people in this forum organize 3 envelops
1. sponsor documents
2. principle applicant documents
3. supporting documents and pictures

There's 2 check lists but the contents of checklists overlap meaning on the main checklist IMM 5491 has all the items listed on IMM 3907

Also is it OK if i just submit all pictures under Supporting documents and pictures? I have IMM5540 with additional info that might need some pictures but wasn't sure if i need to separate out the pictures (her pics and my pictures).

Seems like someone advised to just organize the contents in order of the checklist.

thank you

I sent my application in one single envelope and followed the sponsor's checklist.
All went smooth ^^

Also I suggest you to follow this thread:

;D thank you for the reply. Can I ask how you organised the photos? Do I need to send them all in one place ( I organized by year ) or should we attach it to specific forms as "proof" that we actually did what we said we did.

If you have included items from one checklist and its listed on both lists you do not have to submit the items twice.

Having all the pictures together and not separated as his and hers is fine. As is its ok to have the pictures included with your supporting documents.

Try not to worry to much about setting it up just right. When CIC gets your package they will tear it all apart and organize it how they require. For our application all of our photos were just in one envelope in side the supporting documents envelope (we sent in 4x6 photos)

Well, I wrote on the forms "pictures attached with evidences of relationship" and putted in month/age order.
I made a simple word model (I can send you by e-mail if you want, just send me a private message) and attacahed all the pictures one by one and wrote a legend saying who's in the picture, place/event and time.

Similar to Danslh our photos were written on the back of who was in them, where it was taken, when it was photographed and if it was part of an event that was also written.

thank you all for the replies

I think I will just attach all pictures and send 3 folders/envelops based on sponsor, principle applicant and supporting docs.
