Hi

Can someone confirm that the form listed below is the new one to obtain CAIPS? My imigration file number is #Bxxxxxxxxxx. I don't have a #Exxxxx number for GCMS.

Many thanks

Anybody who can confirm my previous post?

Looks to be very similar to IMM5563B, might be a 2011 version. But why do u want to use that, u could use the same 'old' CAIPS request form [as below]?

Hi Qorax

I was wondering whether the new one has replaced the old one. Al long as they still accept IMM5563B that's fine. Thanks a lot Qorax for all the advice now and in the past. Really appreciate all efforts to help everyone in the forum.

Thanks again!

Hi Qorax,

I need your advise commenting on my caips notes. My son's medical code is M03, what does this mean? Also they mentioned his nationality wrongly. Shall I do any thing regarding this?

Thanks for your response.

Amer

Dear Qorax,

I have just received my CAIPS notes. PSDEC is 1 dated 19-10-2011 i.e. the day my file went into Process. SELDEC, BDEC, MEDDEC, FINDEC, OREQ are all 0. My total points have been shown as 68, complete with break-up. This is less than what I had figured out but I am OK as its over qualifying mark.
It shows BF'D to SEL on 17-06-2011 (I guess SEL here meant SELDEC stage). But there is no note of any event of this date. Next BF'D date is also not mentioned. Perhaps it is still on the concerned VO's desk since 17-06-2011 awaiting his/her reviews and comments.
At one spot it states: NON-NAT? - 1, don't know what does it mean.
Could you please shed some light.
Kind regards,

i have a note in my CAIPS say : paper sent tp SMC ,, it was : paper sent to PA

what is the meanining of SMC

mowafaq,

SMC is the dealing VO.
PA is the storage where files are stored.

vermas,

are there any linguistic comments on your CAIPS? like statement or something?

There was only one comment regarding my salary being low for Toronto area. Otherwise none other.

They are strictly suspicious these days about the potential ability of the applicants for their survival chances in Canada. wait for Ecas to reach IN PROCESS or if that has already been reached, wait for the MR. you guys are in Canada, and your cases should be faster than ours but the slow economy of Canada to blame. Issuance of more PR visas mean burden on general services and more expenditure for Canadian government.

order CAIPS after 6 months. you're not in that hurry I guess.

mowafaq

please read this thread, you both have same VO. how? different visa office.
SMC could be something else. may be an office where files are checked or stored for something.
ir it could be the new GCMS term for anything, not sure.

who has the same note : paper sent to SMC?
