How to obtain Police cleareance certificate from UK while residing in India

Dear All,

Do i need to apply for Police clearance certificate in United Kingdom. as the period of my stay in UK was may 2017 to may 2018 . I was on the onsite assignment from the same employer .

Also Do i need a separate employment reference letter from my UK employer.

1. You stayed for more than 6 months in UK ... so yes you need PCC.

Look up the UK police website- it's fairly simple. I got mine in 5 days when I was in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Nope. Endorser can be from India. While applying for clearance certificate, you just need to update the endorser's name, email address, contact number, occupation and your relation to tue endorser.
