How to Obtain Indian Citizenship for a child born to Indian parents in canada?

I and my wife are living in Canada on work permit. We are expecting our baby in Feb 2016. Please advise how can we get Indian citizenship for our child?

Go for canada passport and OCI for India.

No. I dont have an idea to settle in Canada. We will be going back to India in couple of years and hence cannot afford the high fees in india for NRI.

I would like to get Indian citizenship for my baby..Please advise the possibility.
